This is my blog. I do it because it’s cool. I write because it keeps me on my toes; it keeps me thinking and constantly challenging my position on things; it keeps me current. I DON’T write because I want to impress you; because I think I know everything about PR (I don’t); because I like the sound of my own prose (well, as long as we’re honest, maybe just a little).

Back when I was a student, I titled this blog “my PRception” because that’s what it is (well, that and it sounded kinda clever). It’s not right; it’s not wrong; it just happens to be what I was thinking the moment the post was written. Why is my perception important? In PR, perception is reality. Keeping up with perception is just as important as keeping up with the truth, and in many cases, they are one in the same. Needless to say, my perception and yours probably aren’t the same. That’s ok. That’s what makes it interesting.
